  On certain vehicles, the steering drag link turnbuckle may crack and fracture over time. If this were to occur, it could result in a complete loss of steering control, which would create a risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: dealers will replace the steering drag link.

• Recall 2008006 [Canada]: Lights and instruments
  On certain coaches equipped with zf-astronic transmissions, a cell phone placed in the proximity of the shifter touch pad could cause the display to change from r (reverse) to 2 (second gear) should the phone receive a call. Regardless what the indicator displays, the transmission can only physically engage a forward gear if the vehicle is stopped and the brake pedal is depressed. However, should this occur, and the driver fails to realize the wrong gear is selected (drive instead of reverse), a vehicle crash could occur, potentially causing physical injury or death to occupants and/or bystanders. Correction: dealers will install upgraded transmission software.

  On certain vehicles, the front suspension spindle shafts were incorrectly manufactured. Overheating at the forging process has significantly weakened the shaft material. Failure of the spindle shafts can cause a loss of steering control, which could result in a crash. Correction: dealers will replace both spindle shafts.

  On certain vehicles, premature power steering pressure hose wear may cause a fluid leak. Such a leak would eventually result in a noise from the starving steering pump and increased steering effort. Although the power assist function of the steering would be lost, the driver would maintain steering control. Correction: dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the power steering pressure hose.

• Recall 2003085 [Canada]: Steering
  On certain vehicles, the upper and lower steering column may be missing a bolt and nut missing. This could cause the steering column to slip out of the mating shaft when the column's adjustment mechanism is used. If this were to happen, steering function would be completely lost. Correction: dealer will install a bolt and nut if missing. If they are present, dealer will torque to specs.
