Refer to the applicable Repair Manual for vehicle specific repair procedures and parts. Warranty Information OP CODE DESCRIPTION TIME OFP T1 T2 N/A Not Applicable to Warranty - - - - Repair Procedure 1. After all proper service procedures have been followed, check for potential contamination by disassembling the system in the following locations: A. Check the A/C compressor for debris. • If NO debris is found in the inlet or outlet lines, go to step 3 and replace Parts Group B. • If debris is found in BOTH the compressor inlet and outlet lines at the A/C compressor, go to step 2 and replace Parts Group A. • If debris is found only in the compressor outlet go to step 1B. © 2013 Toyota Motor Sales, USA Page 1 of 2 I @TOYOTA T-SB-0083-13 July 11, 2013 Page 2 of 2 l A/C Systenll Diagnosis After Component Failure I I i Repair Proced~re (Continued) I B. Remove the receiver/drier filter and check for debris. If debris is NOT found, go to step 4 and replace Parts Group C. I • ( • If debris IS found, go to step 1C. C. Remove the expansion valve and check for debris. • If NO debris is present, go to step 5 and replace Parts Group D. • If debris IS present, go to step 2 and replace Parts Group A. 2. Replace the following A/C system components (Parts Group A): • Compressor • Evaporator • Condenser • Expansion Valve • All A/C Lines 3. Replace the A/C Compressor (Parts Group B). 4. Replace the following A/C system components (Parts Group C): • Compressor i • Discharge Hose • Condenser 5.i Replace the following A/C system components (Parts Group D): ! • Condenser • Discharge Hose • High Side Hose • Compressor 6.
