DESCRIPTION
Frequent engine starts under extremely cold ambient temperatures may result in oil seepage from the engine oil
pressure switch. This concern may be caused by a lack of durability of the oil pressure switch under these conditions. To correct the problem, the oil pressure switch has been improved to increase the durability in cold
ambient temperatures.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify customer concern.
2. Replace the engine oil pressure switch. Refer to MS3 online or the Workshop Manual (section 01-11 OIL
PRESSURE SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
3. Verify repair.
