Reason for block
Complaint:
The Check Engine Light (CEL) is on in the instrument cluster and a misfire or reduced power may be felt
by the customer.
Cause:
Possible accumulation of condensation in the intercooler during long steady drives, in high humidity states
during seasons with humidity >70%.
Refer to attachment for determining a humid state during warm/hot seasons.

Remedy:
Follow enhanced guided test for P030100, P030200,P030300 or P030400 with Xentry 12/2016 with
add on 6861 installed.
Workshop must only replace intercooler with updated part if directed by Xentry and if the complaint is in a humid state
or area.
“If no obvious causes of misfire are found, check the fault setting condition, erase fault code and release vehicle without replacing any components.
Submit a labor only claim as outlined in the DTC Verified – No Repair section of the Warranty Manual.”
