The changes are noted in Red text. Previous TSBs: Date(s) Issued: SA-004/18 02/06/2018 APPLICABLE MODEL(S)/VINS 2007-2015 CX-9 DESCRIPTION Some customers may complain of a check engine light on while driving the vehicle. If DTCs P2A04:00, P2272:00 and/or other DTCs are found during diagnosis, follow the repair procedure below. P2A04:00 - HO2S (LH) circuit range/performance P2272:00 - HO2S (LH) signal stuck lean P2270:00 - HO2S (RH) signal stuck lean P2A01:00 - HO2S (RH) circuit range/performance REPAIR PROCEDURE 1. Verify the customer concern. 2. Inspect the C-34 connector (shown below) for engine oil contamination. Service Alert No.: SA-004/19 Last Issued: 02/04/2019 - If oil contamination is not present, this repair is not applicable. Diagnose DTCs according to the instructions on MGSS online. - If oil contamination is present in the C-34 connector, perform the following steps: a. Inspect the engine oil pressure switch for external leaks. b. If external leak is found, replace the engine oil pressure switch. c. Clean the C-34 connector and harness of oil contamination, then go to step 3. 3. Inspect the related O2 sensors according to the instructions on MGSS online. - If the related O2 sensors are operating correctly, go to step 4. - If the related O2 sensors are not operating correctly, replace the affected O2 sensor(s) according to the instructions on MGSS online, then go to next step. 4.
