This is usually a rear cylinder (5 or 6) but could be any. Cause This condition could be caused by a mistimed engine or an incorrect camshaft being installed. Correction: If a mis re concern is found immediately after engine installation, perform normal mis re diagnostics. Make sure the mis re is not cause by ignition or fuel components that were not part of the engine assembly. If normal diagnostics do not lead to the cause, replace the engine again, do not go into the engine timing cover or heads.
