Technical Background When switching the vehicle OFF there may be an error in the instrument cluster -KX2- stating to place the vehicle in park, when the vehicle is already in park. The door locks will also not lock. There may not be any fault codes present. Service Check the GFF log to see if there is coding present in address word 16. If the GFF log displays all zeros: Run the control module software configuration for address word 16, or code manually through OBD using an old GFF log to get the correct coding.
