Solution K56735181 Monday, April 27, 2020 7:23:54 PM CEST ** SOLUTION ** Title (Back Office) Mack Chassis - Grade Gripper Reactivates After Timeout With Brake Pedal Released - Vehicles Manufactured Prior To 2018 Mack Models Mack Model AN - Anthem , CHU - Pinnacle, Axle back , CXU - Pinnacle, Axle front , GR - Granite , GU - Granite , PI - Pinnacle Transmission Transmission AMT-F With Crawler Gears , AMT-F Without Crawler Gears , AMT-C , AMT-D , A MT-F ** SOLUTION ** Cause The ABS controller is seeing brake the switch activate after Grade Gripper has timed out. It then reactivates Grade Gripper and keeps cycling as long as the driver does not touch the throttle or brake pedal. Solution An issue with the cluster software has been found, the cluster is activating the brake lights after Grade Gripper is deactivated. Run Accessory Kit 85156079, this sets parameter GZR (Brake light ECU controlled) to 0 (Read). This parameter change ultimately shuts off cluster parameter to activate brake lights while in Grade Gripper mode.
