Symptom/Vehicle Issue: The Passenger Exterior Mirror Does Not Auto Dim
Discussion: The customer may complain that the Passenger Exterior Mirror does not
dim at night. Before beginning any testing or repairs. You should review the vehicles
sales codes to confirm it is equipped with LEU – Auto Dim Exterior Passenger Mirror.
Only vehicles equipped with this sales code have the electrochromic mirror
functionality.
If you find the vehicle is equipped with LEU but the mirror still does not dim. Perform
further diagnostics to root cause the issue. Mirror replacement may be necessary.
