Cause: Upon diagnosis the battery voltage is low and a quiescent battery drain is observed. The drain may be as a result of a capacitor fault within the Audio Amplifier Module on GEN2.1 systems. Action: A quiescent drain can be attributed to one or more of any of the vehicle electrical /electronic systems, however if the vehicle is within the VIN range below it is advisable before continuing with further diagnosis to disconnect the electrical fuses listed below to see if the quiescent drain is no longer present. If there is no quiescent drain after removing the fuses, please replace the amplifier and Content check again. If the quiescent drain is still present with fuses removed then continue with electrical diagnosis using Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) and reference to TOPIx. XF 12 MY: Fuse F21 (5 Amps) and Fuse F5 (40 Amps) in the Luggage Compartment Fuse Box. XF 13MY: Fuse F21 (5 Amps) and Fuse F4 (40 Amps) in the Luggage Compartment Fuse Box. XJ 12 MY: Fuse F41 (5 Amps) in the Passenger Compartment Fuse Box and Fuse F9 (40 Amps)in the Luggage Compartment Fuse Box. XJ 13 MY: Fuse FA2 (5 Amps) in the QRB (Quiescent relay box in the luggage compartment) Fuse RF31 (40 Amps) in the Passenger Compartment Fuse box (RPDB).
