Symptom 000101 Diagnostic Concerns
Issue:
Under certain circumstances when attempting to perform
HLDF programming on Jaguar vehicles using DVD132 or
later, SDD may display a message "Candidate Not
Available".
Cause:
SDD symptom mapping is not correct for every
circumstance associated with this function and may
trigger this message. This is most commonly reported
when working from a Campaign Session type following
instructions from a Service Campaign.
Solution:
The root cause of this failure is under investigation and
scheduled to be resolved with the release of DVD133.02
Content in the near future.
Until this solution is delivered on SDD, users having
difficulty accessing programming HLDF can select a
Diagnostic Session type and ensure they have selected
one or more SDD symptoms directly associated with the
Touch Screen Display.
For example: Electrical > Information & Entertainment >
Touch Screen Display > (other details may or may not be
required)
Once this has been done, the HLDF "configure as
existing" option should become available on the Extras
tab.
If additional assistance is required, submit a TA with SDD
session files attached.
