AFFECTED VEHICLES: Certain 2004-2007 Lancer, 2006-2009 Raider, and 2012-2017 i-MiEV
PURPOSE:
With permission from the Georgia Department of Revenue - Motor Vehicle Division and Georgia
Department of Driver Services, on June 22, 2022, MMNA will be mailing letters to owners, with
Georgia addresses, of certain 2004-2007 Lancer, 2006-2009 Raider, and 2012-2017 i-MiEV
vehicles with open Takata recalls. These notification letters will be printed on a State of Georgia
letterhead and mailed in an envelope with MMNA’s mail processing return address. Please take
the time to familiarize yourself with the attached letter and envelope as some owners may ask
you about their authenticity.
MMNA has ample inventory of Takata recall parts. To minimize any customer inconvenience, be
sure your dealership has an adequate supply of recall parts on hand.

The Georgia Department of Revenue - Motor Vehicle Division and Georgia Department of Driver Services are contacting you personally
because your [YEAR] MITSUBISHI [MODEL] has a recalled airbag that could kill or seriously injure you and your passengers if it
deploys.
We have received information from MITSUBISHI, that your vehicle requires immediate attention. If the airbags deploy, in some cases
the airbags may explode and spray sharp metal fragments or shrapnel toward you and your passengers.

FREE, and parts are available now. A FREE loaner car, towing service or other alternative transportation may be available to assist with
