SUBJECT: Driver And/Or Passenger Seat Fore/Aft Movement During Acceleration And/Or Braking OVERVIEW: This bulletin involves replacing the power seat track drive block bolts on front driver and/or passenger seat. MODELS: 2011- 2013 (LC) Challenger 2011- 2013 (LD) Charger 2011- 2013 (LX) 300 NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built prior to February 26, 2012 (MDH 0226XX) equipped with power driver and/or passenger seat (sales codes JPS, JPR, JPT). SYMPTOM/CONDITION: The customer may experience up to 1mm(1/32”) fore/aft movement of the driver and/or passenger seat during acceleration and/or braking. DIAGNOSIS: Sit in the suspect seat and subjectively evaluate the customer concern. If the customer complaint can be confirmed as fore/aft looseness or rough travel during seat adjuster operation, perform the Repair Procedure. PARTS REQUIRED: Qty. Part No. Description 8 (AR) 68203613AA Bolt SPECIAL TOOLS/EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: NPN Torque Wrench REPAIR PROCEDURE: 1. Remove the suspect seat(s). Refer to the detailed procedures available in DealerConnect> TechCONNECT under: Service info> 23-Body> Seats, Front> SEAT, Front> Removal. 23-016-13 -2- NOTE: The seat(s) do not need to be fully removed from the vehicle to complete the repair. Lift seat so that the rear locating pins clear the body and lean seat back in vehicle. 2. Remove one of the drive block bolts (1) from the bottom of the seat frame at a time and remove the plastic spacer (2) from the old bolt and reinstall it on the new bolt p/n 68203613AA. 3. Reinstall the new bolt into the bottom of the seat frame (3) and tighten it to 15Nm(11ft/lbs.). Repeat for the remaining bolts and/or seat.
