Subject: Distribution of Electric Vehicle (EV) Insulated Gloves
Mitsubishi is confident that providing your technicians a safe work environment
is a top priority at your dealership. One component of this is ensuring that you
have a set of electrically insulated gloves available for servicing an i-MiEV or
Outlander Plug-in Hybrid.
Technical Information Notices (TINs) have been issued in the past reminding you
of the importance of properly maintaining the gloves and having them regularly
inspected and certified by an accredited laboratory or purchasing a new set from
Bosch Automotive Service Solutions (formerly SPX).
To simplify this process, Mitsubishi will be sending a new set of electrically
insulated gloves to each dealer. The cost of the gloves is $139.99, and they will
be distributed in an upcoming stock order as PT#MB99264801.
The distribution of these gloves will occur on an annual basis to seamlessly
provide your dealership with a new set of this very important piece of safety
equipment each year.
