    2007 MAZDA B-SERIES TRUCK

In august 2016, i received an "important safety recall" notice from Mazda, indicating that my 2007 Mazda B3000 truck has been recalled as part of the takata airbag recall. No other information was received from Mazda. In april 2017, i emailed Mazda customer service to check the status of the recall, and was told that the parts for the recall are not available. They will notify us when the parts are available. It's now been 17 months, since the recall was issued. This vehicle was manufactured by ford motor company in the ford ranger manufacturing plant. Today ford issued an urgent recall on the 2006 ford ranger, which is the twin of my vehicle, and manufactured in the same ford assembly plant. \please help ensure Mazda / ford is actually going to repair these vehicles. At this point it appears to be no manufacturer accountability.

    2004 MAZDA B-SERIES TRUCK with 30000.0 miles

My Mazda B3000 pickup would not stop at a red light causing an accident. When i engaged the brake the front end shook and then there were no brakes. The day of the accident there was a light rain but i had not driven through any puddles, therefore i don't think it was due to "wet" brakes as i have been told. Ultimately my brakes did not work, i only have 30k miles on the vehicle, and i will fear driving it once the body has been fixed. I have never had a vehicle that wouldn't stop and i feel there is something mechanically wrong. I had over 2 car lengths and due to the fact this is a fairly new vehicle, there is not reason it should not have stopped prior to impacting another vehicle.

My 2003 Mazda B3000 pickup spontaneously shifted from neutral into reverse and crashed the (driver's side) open door into the inside wall of my garage. The vehicle was idling and unoccupied, and the parking brake was not engaged. The force of the crash was enough to bend the door. I called the local police department, but was informed that they do not issue report numbers for minor losses incurred on private property. I am filing this report in view of the potential for serious bodily harm, death, or major property damage associated with a spontaneous shifting from neutral into a gear, so that the vehicle travels without any occupants, and poses the risk of crashing.

The manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000. The vin was unavailable. When the Mazda was lifted to repair the brake line and replace the brakes the spring shackles broke off due to extreme rust, costing an additional $450. I think Mazda should be held responsible just as toyota recalled their vehicles due to extreme rusting. Updated 11/09/2011 *ln

    1999 MAZDA B-SERIES TRUCK

In hot ambient temperatures, florida, after my 1999 Mazda B3000 has sat in the parking lot forthe day, the clutch and brake master cylinders failed to function correctly, it is as if when i step on the clutch the fluid bleeds by the o rings and the clutch fails half way to the floor, the same with the brakes, when you step on the brakes, the fluid is leaking past the o rings in the master cylinder, making a gurgling/aerating sound. After you have driven a few miles and air flow over the affected components cools the components, the brake noise almost disappears, and the clutch will sometimes come back to full position, mostly though it will only come back up to half position. When you park the vehicle in the shade or in a cool area, or in the winter, this does not happen. My question, was there a defective batch of o rings and is there a recourse for maufacturers investigation and subsequent repair. *ak

My 1994 Mazda B3000 pickup (i.E. Ford ranger) leaks gasoline when being filled at the filling station due to a faulty fuel tank filler neck. Fuel spills on the ground of filling station (approx 1/2 gal) and is a fire hazard. Cost to replace fuel filler neck is $280 from ford dealership, not including labor - this is prohibitively expensive for a rubber hose. Many other ranger owners experience this same problem, thus indicating that there's a defect in the design/construction of the filler neck. *nm

I have a 1994 Mazda B3000 with 75000 miles and after ten years the tank has developed a crack in an area that is protected from road debris and has no strees or flex . I beleive that this tank while it is ten years old is defective and should be replaced by the manufacturer. The result could be fire from the leaking fuel . The crack is not at a seam . The vehicle is not used in rough terrain causing stress.
