On certain vehicles equipped with aerial devices, the hydraulic filter head for the hydraulic system may be defective. as a result, the filter head may flex under pressure, allowing the sealing o-ring to be pushed out, resulting in a fluid leak. this could cause reduced aerial/ladder performance, increased power requirements and could potentially result in damage to other hydraulically driven components. this could increase the risk of injury/damage to property. correction: dealers will inspect the filter head and replace if necessary.
