• Recall 189763 [USA]: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
  E-one incorporated (e-one) is recalling certain 2017-2021 cyclone 2, cyclone n, quest 2, typhoon, and typhoon n vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.

• Recall 144071 [USA]: The damaged starter lock-out relay may prevent the vehicle from starting, hindering personnel from responding to emergencies, increasing the risk of an injury.
  E-one incorporated (e-one) is recalling certain 2013-2019 typhoon and cyclone 2, 2013-2014 cyclone 3, 2014-2019 quest 2 and 2017 chsh emergency vehicles equipped with a cummins isl, l9, isx12, x12, isx15, or x15 engine. The engines do not have a diode in the starter solenoid circuit to improve the longevity of the lock-out relay, resulting in accumulated damage over time.
  e-one will notify owners, and dealers will install a diode in the starter solenoid circuit and install a new starter lock-out relay, free of charge. The recall began november 15, 2019. • Recall 157274 [USA]: A loss of hydraulic steering assist can increase the risk of a crash.
  E-one incorporated (e-one) is recalling certain 2014-2019 cyclone ii, 2013-2014 and 2016-2019 typhoon, 2015-2017 quest fire trucks. The front shocks may separate from their upper mount on the front suspension. The loose shock may contact and damage the steering gear housing, possibly causing a steering fluid leak and a loss of power steering assist.
  e-one has notified owners, and dealers will install a new shock mount bolt and nut, hardened washer, and shims to keep the shocks secured, free of charge. The recall began august 28, 2019. Owners may contact e-one customer service at 1-352-861-3612.

• Recall 140271 [USA]: If the brake lights incorrectly illuminate, it can confuse other drivers, possibly increasing the risk of a crash.
  E-one incorporated (e-one) is recalling certain 2017-2019 cyclone ii, typhoon and quest ii emergency vehicles, equipped with whelen accessory brake lights. Depending on the specific wiring of the vehicle, these brake lights may illuminate when the brake pedal has not been pressed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

• Recall 128621 [USA]: A reduction in water pressure may hinder fire fighting efforts, increasing the risk of injury.
  E-one incorporated (e-one) is recalling certain 2013-2017 e-one cyclone ii, quest, typhoon, 2016 freightliner m2 112, 2013-2015 international 7400, 2014-2017 international 4400, freightliner m2 106, 2016-2017 kenworth t370, and 2015 kenworth t800 vehicles equipped with hale pressure relief valves in the water pumps used for fire fighting. Rings securing the valves may corrode over time after exposure to water, causing the ring to fail and the pressure relief valve to open, reducing the water pressure available for fire fighting.

• Recall 2021275 [Canada]: Fuel supply
  Issue: on certain vehicles, the fuel rail assembly could develop a leak. Note: this recall only affects vehicles equipped with a cummins l9 or isx12 diesel engine. Safety risk: a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: cummins will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a cummins authorized service center to inspect the fuel rail. If damage is found, the fuel rail and fuel lines will be replaced. If no damage is found, the fuel rail will be reassembled with new crush washers using a special tool.

• Recall 2019517 [Canada]: Electrical
  Issue: on certain vehicles, the starter lock-out relay could be damaged over time, causing it to fail. If this happens, it will not be possible to start the engine. Note: a possible symptom of a damaged starter lock-out relay is a truck that requires multiple attempts to start. Safety risk: an emergency vehicle with an engine that cannot be started could increase the risk of injury in an emergency situation. Corrective actions: e-one will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a service center to install a relay and diode kit.

• Recall 2017590 [Canada]: Accessories
  On certain fire trucks, the retaining ring(s) in the relief valve assembly may not have been made using high grade stainless steel, causing it to deteriorate over time due to frequent exposure to water. If the retaining ring fails, the relief valve may break down and prevent the fire pump from building adequate pressure, which would increase the risk of injury during firefighting operations. Correction: dealers or certified technicians will inspect and replace the retaining ring(s) as necessary.

  On certain vehicles, the steering assist cylinder attachment and adjustment points may not have been tightened to specification at time of assembly. This could result in the steering assist cylinder separating from the steering arm, causing a loss of steering assist and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: vehicles will be inspected and fasteners tightened to specification.

• Recall 2017213 [Canada]: Suspension
  On certain vehicles equipped with reyco independent front suspension (ifs), the suspension system may contain loose ball joints. If these are not detected through regular servicing, they may separate, causing suspension failure. This could affect vehicle handling and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: owners will be instructed the have the suspension inspected by an e-one certified dealer or technician. Loose ball joints will be replaced.
