    Issue: on certain vehicles, the starter lock-out relay could be damaged over time, causing it to fail. if this happens, it will not be possible to start the engine. note: a possible symptom of a damaged starter lock-out relay is a truck that requires multiple attempts to start. safety risk: an emergency vehicle with an engine that cannot be started could increase the risk of injury in an emergency situation. corrective actions: e-one will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a service center to install a relay and diode kit.
