• Recall 118664 [USA]: If the bearings move out of position, the stowed platform may have excessive movement resulting in failure of the platform mounting. this failure could cause the wheel chair lift platform to fall out of the vehicle when the doors are opened, increasing the risk of injury for the lift operator.
  Mobilityworks (wmk inc.) is recalling certain model year 2006-2014 ford e-150, e-250, and e-350 vans modified by mobilityworks to be equipped with certain model s2005, s2010, s5005, s5010, s5505, and s5510 wheelchair lifts manufactured by ricon corporation. The affected lifts are equipped with folding link arms that may have pivot holes that are too big, allowing the bearings to move out of position.
  mobilityworks will notify owners, and ricon dealers will inspect the link arms for damage or for displaced bearings. The platform will be inspected for cracks. Any damaged parts will be replaced, free of charge. The recall began on december 15, 2015. • Recall 109189 [USA]: If the platform side plates crack, the lift platform can separate from the lift and come to rest against the vehicle's lift door. when the doors are opened, the platform may fall out, increasing the risk of injury to the lift operator.
  Cummings mobility conversion & supply (cummings) is recalling certain model year 2006-2014 ford e-150, e-250, e-350, chevrolet express, 2006-2008 dodge sprinter, and 2009-2014 mercedes-benz sprinter, and 2013 ford transit connect vehicles manufactured january 1, 2006, to october 8, 2014, equipped with certain model s2005, s2010, s5005, s5010, s5505, and s5510 wheelchair lifts manufactured by ricon corporation after january 1, 2006. The platform side plate of the affected wheelchair lifts may crack.

• Recall 97472 [USA]: If the cable does not clear the wheel chair lift it may contact the power lug and, if it does not have a nonconductive cover, or it has an improperly installed non-conductive cover, a short circuit may occur that could result in a fire.

  Ford is recalling certain replacement fuel tanks that could be installed into model year 2004 through 2008 e-150, e-250, and e-350 vans and wagons. The affected fuel tanks have an extra obdii sensor hole on the top of the tank that may not be properly sealed and may leak fuel.

• Recall 60203 [USA]: After a period of continuous use on the high speed setting, lack of grease on the output shaft gear may cause the gear to distort or fracture during operation resulting in a loss of wiper function. inoperative wipers under inclement weather conditions could cause a crash due to impaired visibility.

Vehicle will not go over 40mph with overdrive something seems to be wrong with the transmission unkown reason why?

I own a 2006 ford f-150 4x4 pickup. Two weeks ago the speed odometer went crazy, it started out sticking at 10 mph and moved all the way over to 120+ and sometimes drops to the 40 mph area and then right back up to the 120 mph zone. I have never had this truck over 75 mph...Ever. I checked for a cable malfunction but i found out there is no cable, its electronic.This truck has 144,000 miles what is going on with ford these days? Is there a recall on something? How do you fix this? I have already changed all 8 coil packs on this truck for an unrelated problem with ignition. I hear the spark plugs are a pain also. All i know now when i drive this truck there is no way to tell how fast i am going. I just judge my speed by how fast everybody else is going. If nobody is on the road i am screwed...Thanks a lot ford !!!

Parking our boat trailer at the lake and rolled the window down heard a weird crunching noise so i rolled back up and then it just slid down all by itself and had to leave our f-150 unlocked at the lake and worry the whole time while we were on our boat expensive to repair bought the part today 173.73 and that is putting in our selves i have read many complaints about this and ford acted like it never happens they need check in to this problem you should not have to replace a window regulator in a 2006 vehicle. Ford should care about the quality of what the are selling and the new part i bought is no different than the one that broke according to the parts dept.So i am sure this problem will continue. *tr

I am unable to put fuel into my van without having gas spilled on me or my van. After i start trying to fill tank, the fuel tank can be completely empty, and still have fuel spilled all over. I have to stand there putting fuel in as slow as possible and this can take up to and even more then 30 minutes. *tr

Renzenberger, inc van number 4451 has had these problems for at least one month. My coworkers supervisor and i have complained multiple times to our supervisor but he said to just deal with it because he has no other vans available. To make a long story short, this van is a rolling safety hazard. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 ford e-150. The contact was driving approximately 30 mph and depressing the brakes when he noticed an increase in stopping distance and time. Intermittently, the brake pedal was able to be depressed into the floorboard abnormally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they advised the contact that the hydraulic control unit had failed. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 108,000.

My ford e150, econo van came to a sudden stall when i was driving on high way. Once it got stalled, i l don't have steering, power and brake control. The van won't start and won't stay idle. Or running, but after like 20 times trying to restart the car, it started running again like normal. The sudden stalling happens more often when i was trying to make turns. Each time the engine stops, the check engine light, check tool light, and check gauge light came on. I took it to the dealer to have it serviced, they replaced the air flow sensors and cleaned the engine,...Costs about $1,000.00 in less than a week, the van suddenly stalls again. I almost got into an accident with on coming car while i was making a left turn. Again, i have no steering control and braking power. I took the van back to the dealer, and they replaced the electronic throttle body. Total replacement of about $500.00 the problem is solved so far, but it was definitely a very scary experience for me. This happened when the car has less than 4 years old and less than 47,000 miles. It is very hard for me to over come the safety concern of the car each time i stepped into this van. *tr
