• Recall 83061 [USA]: Decreased lighting visibility may result in a vehicle crash.
  Sabersport is recalling 16,270 combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies of various part numbers sold for use as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles. These headlamps fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment." these lamps do not contain the required amber side reflectors.
  sabersport will notify owners and offer a full refund for the noncompliant combination lamps. The safety recall began on may 11, 2009. Owners may contact sabersport at 1-909-598-7589.

• Recall 2001058 [Canada]: Fuel supply
  On certain vehicles, the fuel tank front rollover valve could stick open and allow fuel leakage. If the vehicle is parked down a grade of 2.5 degrees or more, and the valve sticks open, and if the fuel tank is full or so full that the fuel in the tank submerges the front rollover valve, fuel will leak into the evaporative emission canister until the fuel level in the tank no longer submerges the front rollover valve. If the leakage exceeds the canister's capacity, fuel will leak onto the ground. Leaked fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Correction: dealers will install a revised evaporative emission pipe assembly.

I was seated on the passenger front seat of my vehicle doing paperwork when my passenger airbag spontaneously deployed causing me to suffer burns and contusions to my legs and groin regions and injuries to my hands, neck, back and shoulders. The vehicle was stationary at the time the airbag deployed.

Tl*the contact owns a 1997 gmc savana 3500. While driving approximately 35 mph, the passenger side front air bag deployed without warning. There were no injuries. The authorized dealer was notified of the frontal air bag deployment and stated that they needed to be replaced. The vehicle has not been repaired. Plastic pressure fuel line on my gmc 1997 savannah g150 developed a puncture spraying gasoline near exhaust pipe had to replace send defective line to gm they said they had no way to test it. *jb

While driving at 30 mph and without warning driver side air bag deployed. Then, passenger side air bag deployed. Dealer examined the vehicle, an determined that sensor control module had a short due to moisture in the carpet.*ak

While driving approximately 45 mph the vehicle lost power steering which made it hard to control the vehicle. The driver managed to pull off onto the side of the road and contacted a tow company. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who indicated that the problem was the power steering pump which needed to be replaced. *nlm *ph *nlm

Side cargo doors progressively harder to open until rear upper hinge snapped. Door left hanging, very dangerous. Not rusted or abused. *nlm

Replaced intake manifold gaskets with 69,000 miles on it.

Since vehicle was purchased there has been a gas leak. Consumer states' he constantly breathing fumes. Cause is unknown. Please provide any further information. Ts
