  On certain vehicles, long-term exposure to high absolute humidity and temperature, combined with high temperature cycling, could eventually degrade the propellant contained in the passenger frontal airbag. This could cause the airbag to deploy with more force than normal. As a result, if the vehicle were involved in a collision that warrants airbag deployment, fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants, and the airbag assembly could be damaged, preventing proper function. These issues could increase the risk of injury. Correction: dealers will replace the passenger frontal airbag inflator. For the gl1800 model, dealers will replace the airbag module. Note: canadian climate results in the propellant degrading slowly. The recall is being conducted as a precaution to address future risk, and is expected to replace airbag inflators before their function would be affected.

I took this seat apart to fix a wobble. Now i think there might be a larger safety concern with these seats. Problem: the rear height adjustment bar on the driver's seat has yielded to failure along a weld. This bar is used for synchronizing the seat height on the remote side and sending side. Symptom: this results in the remote side of the seat's height to float, causing a small but significant amount of twisting of one side as the (driver's) seat rocks on the height adjustment feet. Safety: the "twisting" action in a collision could cause unexpected failure of seat. I immediately loss power and the vehicle started to decelerate. I turned on my hazards, pressed on the pedal to accelerate but the vehicle was bogging and wouldn't accelerate pass 50mph. I safely got off on the next exit and shut off the vehicle. I turned the vehicle back on and made it home safely. This is the second time this happened. I changed multiple parts on the vehicle since then, yet it continues to happen. I took the vehicle to the dealership and they could not figure it out.

Got hit in the side from making a u turn, moderate speed. Concern is that my son, who was driving, reported that the airbags deployed but did not inflate. He bumped his head (no personal injury reported), which is how he knows the bags never inflated. *tr
