I purchased a hyundai 2021 palisade sel in december of 2020. Within a day of my vehicle purchase, i began receiving a message while using my wireless apple carplay that my phone was "not responding" and i needed to reconnect. It takes two button resets on my navigation screen to reset this feature. I told my sales person about this issue two days after purchasing my vehicle and was told i must have a bad wifi connection when this occurs. It has continued to occur regardless of a "strong" wifi connection and i have now taken my vehicle to 2 dealerships and have been told there is no "fix" for this problem. I was told by one employee that this is an apple issue and it will be fixed via an update to my cellphone. Both dealerships said there is nothing they can do and have been instructed by hyundai not to replace the radio/audio system as they will not reimburse the dealerships for this but that this issue will be addressed "soon." this physical "reset" is required sometimes as often as every few minutes. Upon a christmas drive from georgia to wisconsin, i had to manually reset this feature more than 100 times in order to view my navigation screen. I feel this is an extreme hazard while driving to myself and others and would greatly appreciate attention to this matter.

I have a 2016 tucson sport with 62000 miles on it. I've been having issues with the ac blowing hot air on and off for a few months.. I took it to a hyundai dealership and they replaced a defective compressor, the torque limiter had internally sheared due to binding. Now 4.5 months later it's blowing hot air again. I've also had to have the electrical system fixed, the steering column, housing, and mdps module assembly replaced as well.

I recently lost my key fob on a keyless start car. It took 5 days with expedite services to get a new fob. Then the fact you have to get your car towed to the dealers to program on top of that. Imagine being in the western us with kids and a dog, and your stranded! The reason fobs get lost is lack of use. They fall out of pockets, purses, etc. Every car made should also have a backup key. Then the cost $500 to $800. Locksmiths could help you before now you are stranded and at the mercy of the manufacturer. I have a hyundai and hate the keyless entry. The dealers never have the fobs in stock!

Hi not sure if this is a safety complaint or what it would be considered. I have a 2016 hyundai santa fe sport vin - [xxx] when i was looking up recall info for it i saw that you had a back up camera listed as standard safety equipment. My 2016 santa fe sport does not have a back up camera nor did it come standard. Do i need to be concerned that is concerned as standard equipment but it is not in my car? I have a 2012 hyundai elantra with less than 50,000 miles on it. Recently, the airbag symbol comes on when igniting the car, turns off for a min or 2 and then comes back on and stays on. Evidently, this indicates that there is an issue with the airbag, which not deploy when necessary. This is obviously a safety issue and should be repaired by the manufacturer.

Vehicle type: 2012 hyundai sonata se on thursday april 14, 2016 at approximately 6p in the evening the air bag check light was illuminated in my vehicle for no apparent reason. The following day, i took the car to the dealer, and was told to make an appointment to have the issue addressed. On sat april 23rd, i was told that the repair was $436 to replace a clock spring assembly (part # 93490-3q120). Due to the fact the vehicle has over 60,000mi, this equipment replacement is not covered by any warranty. I was astonished to find that something of this import would ever need replacement and that such failure in the device would prevent my airbag from deploying in the event of a collision. For this reason, i believe that the warranty on any such item should be unlimited. Without this repair, i do not have a functioning airbag. I contend that the repair of equipment required by the nhtsa should be covered by the manufacturer and warranted by such for the lifetime of the vehicle, as long as the vehicle is operational.
