• Recall 155165 [USA]: A fractured rear toe link will cause a sudden change in vehicle handling and increase the risk of a crash.
  Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2013-2018 lincoln mkt and ford flex and taurus vehicles with the police interceptor or sho performance pack. The rear suspension toe links may fracture due to stress on the rear suspension.
  ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rear suspension toe links, free of charge. Remedy parts are not currently available. Owners were notified about the recall on march 3, 2020. A second notice will be mailed when remedy parts become available, which is currently expected to be the end of september 2020. The recall began october 28, 2020.   Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 ford taurus, ford flex, lincoln mks and lincoln mkt vehicles equipped with 3.5l gtdi ecoboost engines and 2013-2015 ford taurus police interceptor vehicles. A component within the fuel pump electric module (pem) may overheat causing a loss of electrical power to the fuel pump.

• Recall 111992 [USA]: The vehicles do not have the seats and restraints that they were intended to have. unrestrained or improperly restrained occupants are at an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
  Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain model year 2015 lincoln mkt town car vehicles equipped with the livery package manufactured february 4, 2015, to june 23, 2015. The vehicles were intended to seat five passengers, but were delivered without the second row seating. Accordingly, the vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) no. 110. The vehicles also fail to comply with fmvss no. 225, "child restraint anchorages" since they were delivered without a tether anchorage at the front passenger seating position, and as is required for vehicles without a second row of seats.

  On certain vehicles, the fuel pump electric module may be damaged due to high electrical current loads.   Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of canada motor vehicle safety standard 135 - brake systems. During the manufacturing process, the parking brake controller assembly bracket may have been improperly formed. This could result in the pawl to not engage the sector gear during actuation and the parking brake not fully engaging. If the transmission is in park, there will be no unintended vehicle movement. If the transmission is left in a gear other than park, and the vehicle is parked on a sufficient slope, a non-functioning parking brake could result in unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: dealers will inspect, and if necessary, replace the parking brake control assembly.

  On certain limousine and hearse prep package vehicles, a vacuum pump relay internal fault could result in overheating of the relay. Additionally, the underhood vacuum pump relay connector is not sealed to prevent water and road contamination. Over time, the relay internal fault or connector contamination can increase the potential of a resistive short which could cause the relay to overheat, potentially resulting in an underhood fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: dealers will replace the vacuum pump relay with an electro-mechanical relay.

The vehicle went right as a result of the back fishtailing to the left. The contact was then able to stop the vehicle and then pull over off the main highway. The vehicle was towed to the dealer maplecrest ford lincoln of union (2800 springfield ave suite 1, vauxhall, nj 07088 (908) 964-7700) and they confirmed that it was the toe link that fractured. They repaired both toe links and charged the contact for the repairs even though the vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 20v072000 (suspension). The dealer said the contact would be reimbursed when they said it became a 'full blown' recall. The manufacturer had not been contacted yet except for the initial tow to the dealer. The failure mileage was 187,500.

I left with the vehicle and had not noticed anything until my daughter asked where the cold air hitting her face was coming from as we started down the road. I pushed the button for the interior panel to open, and as it began opening we saw shattered glass everywhere. Nothing fell on this at all. The glass appears to have buckled and shattered. This is a manufacturer defect that lincoln needs to address.

Yesterday as i was driving on the i 4 east i suddenly heard a big noise coming from my car it was the sunroof explore the front part of the glass it shadow the glass. I was driving i did not think anything hit sunroof at all , i just heard the noise and half of my sunroof was broken in pieces. I checked a few glass companies and get a price to fix it was about 4000 to 5000 dollars .Can you please help i think it's a defective glass. Thank you

The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing the same symptoms as listed in nhtsa campaign number: 16v621000 (fuel system, gasoline). The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and the fuel pump was replaced. The manufacturer and dealer were not notified. The failure mileage was 45,800. The vin was invalid.

While driving home on a street my sunroof exploded. Sounded like a bomb. We immediately pulled over and checked. No impact seen. A few days later took to our local lincoln dealership. They claimed maybe a possible impact seen and car no longer under warranty for glass. Had to pay my $500 deductible and have it fixed. There was no impact. No one around us. Went under no bridges. Lincoln needs to step up and figure out what is going on.
