• Recall 247673 [USA]: A detached sunroof panel may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Mercedes-benz usa, llc (mbusa) is recalling certain 2001-2011 c-class, clk, e-class, and cls vehicles. Please refer to mbusa's recall report for specific vehicle model details. The glass sunroof panel may not be properly secured and may detach.
  dealers will inspect and replace the sunroof panel as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed february 3, 2023. Owners may contact mbusa customer service at 1-800-367-6372. This recall expands nhtsa recall number 19v-918. Mbusa's numbers for this recall are 2023010004, 2023010005, and 2023010006.

• Recall 184746 [USA]: A detached glass panel can separate from the vehicle and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
  Mercedes-benz usa, llc (mbusa) is recalling certain 2006-2007 c350, c230, c280, clk350, e320cdi, e350 wagon, e350, 2006 c55 amg, clk500, cls500, cls55 amg, e500 wagon, e500, e55 amg, 2007 clk550, cls550, cls63 amg, e550, e63 amg, and e63 wagon amg vehicles. The bonding between the glass panel and the sliding roof frame may deteriorate, possibly causing the glass panel to detach from the vehicle.
  mbusa will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the glass panel bonding and replace the sliding roof, as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed may 7, 2021. Owners may contact mbusa customer service at 1-800-367-6372. This recall is an expansion of recall number 19v-918. Mbusa's number for this recall is 2021040012.

We have 71,000 miles on our 2006 mercedes benz c280. Before christmas, the engine light starts going on and the engine starts sounding rough and jerking. We take it into mercedes benz and they diagnose a cam shaft issue. It turns out all 2006 mercedes benz c280 have the same problem with the same mileage. This car is a safety hazard and needs to be recalled.

The wire harness insulation within the headlight assemble is disintegrating leaving the wire, it's designed to protect, bare and exposed to contact with adajacent wire also missing insulation and now bare. This has created an unsafe condition which will result in short circuiting, loss of headlight illumination, possible fire and circuits damage.

Mercedes benz "mb" wants to charge me $8,800.00 to fix a balance shaft replacement. There has been a number of complaints about this kind of malfunction

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 mercedes-benz c280. While driving 55 mph, the sun roof glass detached from the vehicle without warning. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (prime motors cars, 137 us route 1, scarborough, me 04074, (207) 510-2250) where it was diagnosed that the replacement part needed to be ordered. I heard there is a recall on my c280 mercedes air bags

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 mercedes-benz c280. While driving 35 mph, the driver's side air bag deployed without warning or impact. Prior to the failure, the contact heard a ticking noise while driving. The contact was temporarily blinded and burned by the deployment. Medical attention was required. The contact was not able to take control of the vehicle and crashed into another vehicle. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a local auto dealer to assess the damage. The failure mileage was 109,000.

Vehicle check engine light keeps coming on with a P0015 code which indicates a camshaft problem. Numerous complaints found online regarding same year, make and model for this vehicle. It could cause the car to stall, not shift gears and other issues suddenly.

While trying to merge on the highway the car response slowly when trying to accelerate to highway speed the engine over rev's but no power the same happens when changing lanes. While reversing out of a driveway the car locked up both the engine and steering wheel would not i had to turn in on and off several times and the put it back in drive before i was able to finally reverse this incident placed my life in danger because when the car locked up half of it was on the driveway and the other half in the street impeding traffic. I am nervous about driving this car because it doesn't respond as quickly as it should which could cause an accident.
