• Recall 83080 [USA]: Decreased lighting visibility may result in a vehicle crash.
  Sabersport is recalling 16,270 combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies of various part numbers sold for use as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles. These headlamps fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment." these lamps do not contain the required amber side reflectors.

• Recall 2139 [USA]: This condition can cause the seat belt tongue to come out of the buckle in the event of a collision or hard braking of the vehicle increasing the risk of personal injury to an occupant of the seat.
  On certain light duty pickup trucks, the latch plate used in the seat belt buckle was not manufactured according to design dimensions. If the seat belt tongue is inserted slowly at an angle into the buckle, there is a possibility of partial engagement.
  dealers will inspect the buckle and, if necessary, replace the buckle assembly with a new buckle. Owner notification began may 22, 2002. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact nissan at 1-800-647-7261.

• Recall 1996138 [Canada]: Seats and restraints
  The latch plate used in the seat belt buckle may not have been manufactured according to the design dimension. This could result in partial engagement of the seat belt buckle and could cause the seat belt tongue to come out of the buckle in the event of a crash or sudden stop. Correction: vehicles will be inspected and buckles with the affected lot number will be replaced.

  Takata/nissan/isuzu have determined that during the initial recall campaign (96v-170), some vehicles that contain defective seat belt buckles were inadvertently omitted from the campaign. Nissan will recall 92,500 my1994 pathfinder and d21 pickup trucks (02v-125).Isuzu will recall 13,831 my1994/1995 rodeo, amigo, tf and pickup trucks (02v-281) .Isuzu is also recalling 618 my 1994 honda passport vehicles under recall 02v-281 (the honda passport is manufactured by isuzu for honda and is similar to the isuzu rodeo vehicle). I have a 1994 nissan pu d21 . I just noticed that the frame has a rusty hole on the frame at the front on the passenger side . For my safety and others i can't drive this truck . I hope nissan will pay attention this issue before someone get killed .

Nothing happened to me yet. But i've been reading reports of this frame rust the same way in other trucks. I think there's integrity issue with the frame nissan made. The rest of my truck is flawless no body rust. Was there a recall put out i just haven't heard of it? I just want to report it to make sure that nissan might be aware of the problem. *tr

The frame section above the right rear front spring perch is cracked. Frame has holes on both sides near front suspension also. Unsafe to operate vehicle. *tr

Frame broke loose in 7 spots once a week i was patching then i would find a new spot but now from is to soft to even put a jack under it to get the spare tire on i finally had to retire it. But this truck only has 81000 on it. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 1994 nissan king cab. The contact stated that while having routine maintenance performed the mechanic advised him that the sub frame was severely covered with rust. They also advised him not to drive the vehicle due to the severity of the rust. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure and current mileage was approximately 225,000. The vin was unavailable.

The dealer was notified and stated that there were no recalls or warranties for this failure. The manufacturer was also notified and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 120,000. The structural frame of the truck is rotting out in varying degrees throughout the truck. Creates a safety issue if in a vehicle accident the structural integrity of the truck may fail and cause a great deal of injury to the occupants of the vehicle. The rotting was not noticed (although it was frequently checked for) until the frame literally cracked open while it was sitting in the garage. *tr

1994 nissan pickup, rusted frame. Unsafe to drive but have no choice need to get to work. Nissan should be made to buy these vehicles back at a reasonable price. Toyota bought back there trucks with rotted frames. Hopefully i don't get hurt or moreso an innocent driver. *tr
