The egr temperature sensor has failed. The mfg. Has placed this component in a location that is accessible only after removal of the intake manifold. The actual sensor is available for $70. According to the nissan dealer, replacement of this component will cost more than $900. This is such a poor vehicle system design that consumers should not have to bear the ridiculous cost of this repair.
