• Recall 114999 [USA]: An unexpected surge in water pressure to the fire hose can increase the risk of injury to the hose operator or those nearby.

• Recall 103217 [USA]: If the latch plate remains partially engaged after the button is pressed, egress from the vehicle could be hindered which would increase the risk of injury in the event of an emergency.
  Pierce manufacturing (pierce) is recalling certain model year 2013 arrow xt, dash cf, impel, and velocity vehicles manufactured october 2013 through january 2014, and equipped with immi-brand l9 seat belt buckles. When the button is pressed to release the seat belt, the latch plate can become partially engaged with the buckle, making the seat belt difficult to unlatch. Thus, these vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) no. 209, "seat belt assemblies."

The trailer connector circuit was wired such that the stop signal overrides the turn signal and the trailer lights do not indicate a turn when brakes are applied.

• Recall 97911 [USA]: This may allow the vehicle to unexpectedly roll, increasing the risk of personal injury or a vehicle crash.
  Pierce manufacturing inc. Is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 arrow xt and velocity emergency vehicles, manufactured january 1, 2012, through june 14, 2013 and equipped with quarter-turn ball valves installed between the glad hands connectors and the parking brake system. If the ball valves are left in the closed position, air pressure can build up on the parking brake circuit side and prevent the application of the spring park brakes when the parking brake valve is activated in the cab.

  On certain vehicles, the lower control arms may have developed cracks at time of manufacture and may fail. This could cause partial suspension failure and could result in a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: owners will be provided with inspection instructions to determine if the control arms may be subject to the recall. Those found to be potentially affected will be inspected by the manufacturer and replaced as necessary.

  On certain trucks, the trailer wiring connector may have been incorrectly wired so that a stop signal overrides the turn signal. As a result, trailer lights would not indicate a turn while braking.   Certain fire trucks fail to conform to canada motor vehicle safety standard 206 – door lock and door retention components. Specifically, the outer door handle spring is not sufficiently stiff, which may allow the door to open during a vehicle crash. As a result, an unbelted occupant could fall from the vehicle and sustain personal injury. Correction: dealers will replace the outer door handle actuator spring with an updated version.
