• Recall 101808 [USA]: Once electrically conductive, the material is capable of melting and burning, increasing the risk of a fire.
  Marathon coach, inc. (marathon) is recalling certain model year 2001-2013 marathon conversions prevost xl, and h3 motorcoaches equipped with sure power-brand battery equalizers or dc-dc converters containing a particular epoxy sealing, aka 'potting', compound. The specific potting compound used in the subject products for insulation was found to be capable of conducting electricity after being exposed to heat.
  marathon will notify owners, and marathon service centers will replace the equalizers or converters, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in march 2014. Owners may contact marathon at 1-352-588-4500.

• Recall 38256 [USA]: The shafts can break causing a loss of steering control increasing the risk of a crash.
  On certain motor homes equipped with front independent suspension, two spindle shafts were improperly processed during manufacturing which weakened the shafts.
  dealers will replace the two spindle shafts and surrounding parts free of charge. The recall began on october 12, 2006. Owners may contact prevost at 418-831-5432.

• Recall 34487 [USA]: Broken rod pins can cause a loss of control of the vehicle, which could result in a crash.
  On certain motor coaches and motor homes, cracks were found in the material used to make suspension radius rod pins.

• Recall 64375 [USA]: The steering gearbox may become loose affecting steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
  On certain new "face-lift" motor coaches and motor homes equipped with independent front suspension, a modification was made to the steering gearbox mounting support. The support may develop stress cracks under heavy load conditions.
  dealers will weld three (3) reinforcement brackets to the gear box support. Owner notification began may 2, 2003. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact prevost at 1-418-831-5432.
