Dealers will need to install the dowel pins between the short block and lower crankcase when performing this repair. A Tech Tip will be released in the near future to show this procedure, and TSB revision will be developed. If you are performing a short block replacement under ZE7 please be sure to order the following Dowel Pins: Part Number 90250-08074 Description PIN, DOWEL CYLINDER HEAD Qty. Required Per Repair 2 The warranty system has been modified to accept this additional required part. We will notify dealerships again when the dowel pins are pre-installed in replacement short blocks and this process is no longer necessary. Thank you for your support
