Condition
As part of our ongoing quality improvement efforts the Engine Control Module (ECM) part
numbers 55501366, 55502052 and 55485591 will be placed on a parts restriction through the
Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
Cause
This parts restriction will assist Engineering with product feedback.
If you require an engine control module (ECM) please complete the following diagnostic questionnaire before you contact TAC.
Is the Restricted part being requested for customer pay? Yes/No
List all DTCs: Are the current (active) DTCs repeatable?
If DTCs P0601, P0602, P0603, P0604, P0606, P062F or P16F3 are set; clear the DTC. If the DTC(s) reset; perform SI diagnostics for the
DTC(s) that reset.
If DTC P0315 is found; verify that Crankshaft Position System Variation learning value has been correctly performed and values
learned.
If DTCs P0335 or P0336 are found; check crank/cam sensor related connectors, wiring and terminals for being loose, backed out or
damaged.
If any turbocharger or fuel related DTCs are set; check for leaks in the air and/or fuel systems. Leaks in the air or fuel system may
cause DTCs to set.

Have you completed the appropriate SI documents for the DTCs listed?
What SI documents were used for diagnosis?
What step in the SI document led to replace the ECM?
