When it becomes necessary to open a VW Technician Helpline VTA case while performing diagnosis for a
diesel particulate filter, manual transmission repair, or turbocharger concern, it is recommended to
complete the related worksheet/check sheet before calling.
Worksheets/Check Sheets are available on ServiceNet under Technician References>Technician
Helpline>Worksheets/Check Sheets (US).
Worksheet/Check Sheet must be scanned and attached to VTA or faxed to (800) 403-4710 with the VTA
access code clearly readable on sheet.
