Figure 1. Car wash bristle is stuck in the body gap. Technical Background The vehicle design in the area around the headlights has a gap that, when the vehicle is washed in car washes having a particular bristle angle and type, can trap these bristles in this area, tear away from the mechanism and lodge in the gap between the headlight and fender. Production Solution Not applicable. Service Remove the bristle fragments from the headlight. Please explain the cause to the customer and suggest that they change the car wash used.
