Introduction
Peterbilt has initiated an improvement to the Model 320/520 power window module. A vapor barrier will
be installed over the module to prevent moisture.
Resolution
Fix-as-Fail
If a vehicle enters the dealership with a failed window module, remove and replace the failed module and
add the vapor barrier. If the window module on the other door has not failed, install the vapor barrier
only. (See the attached procedure).
Warranty
If the customer is experiencing the condition listed above, Peterbilt will pay through Standard Warranty
for parts and labor to install a vapor barrier:
1.2 hours to remove and replace the window module, and install a vapor barrier over the
module, only the failed module should be replaced but vapor barriers are required for both
doors. File a long form claim and reference 02151 in the “CCC”

Procedure
Follow the below procedures to add vapor barriers in both doors and replace any failed modules.
Important: Do not replace modules that have not failed. Replace modules in both doors only if both
modules have failed.
