PROCEDURE
DANGER
Park vehicle safely, apply parking brake, stop the engine. Prior to working on the vehicle, set
the ignition switch to the OFF position and trip the main circuit breakers equipped with a trip
button. On Commuter type vehicles, set the battery master switch (master cut-out) to the OFF
position.
Lock out & Tag out (LOTO) must be performed during set-up, maintenance or repair activities.
Refer to your local procedure for detailed information regarding the control of hazardous
energy.

1. Unscrew the two screws at the lower end of the Prevost Driver Assist system camera housing
and then remove the cable holder.
2. On both sides of the camera, insert a small flat blade screwdriver in the opening.
3. Gently prying by moving the screwdriver handles away from the windshield a small amount –
push against the retaining clips to release the camera (see image below with the camera
hidden to show the mechanism).

4. Detach the camera and set aside.
5. Remove and discard the broken windshield with existing camera bracket glued to it.
6. Install the new windshield.
7. If the new windshield came without camera position markings: Use template G37362 (H3) or
G37276 (X3) to draw the position markings shown in red on the image below.

8. Peel off double-side tape and line up the new bracket with markings.
9. Reinstall the camera onto the new bracket.
