SERVICE INFORMATION
Factory wheel covers are installed on vehicles during Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI).
Care must be taken to properly install the wheel covers to avoid damage. Go to
SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin for proper wheel cover installation.
NOTE: Damage to wheel covers caused by improper installation is not covered under
warranty.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
Install Wheel Cover
CAUTION: When not mounted, keep the wheel covers face up to avoid scratching.
1. Align the valve stem notch and lug nut “pockets” with the ones on the road wheel.

2. Fit the wheel cover into the road wheel in the area of the valve stem.

Center the valve stem notch around the valve stem.

3. Hold the wheel cover where shown in
Figure 4 and 6 while keeping it pushed into
the road wheel around the valve stem.

4. While holding the wheel cover as stated in
step 3, hit on the wheel cover edge starting
in the area shown in Figure 4 and 6.


Hit the wheel cover with the palm of
your hand.
Hit over the retention “legs” (see
Figure 5).

CAUTION: Do NOT use a hammer, rubber mallet, or similar tool. This may cause
damage to the wheel cover or make the retention ring to pop off.
5. Continue hitting around the wheel cover until it is completely seated in place.
6. Once the wheel cover is completely seated, make sure:
 The valve stem notch is centered around the valve stem
and
 All of the retention “legs” are in place
and
 The retention ring is still in place.
