A/C DYE FOR E-COMPRESSOR EQUIPPED VEHICLES
This bulletin provides information on the proper non-conductive A/C system leak detection dye to be used in
all EV, HEV, and PHEV models equipped with an electric A/C compressor.
In addition to using only non-conductive (POE) oil in all e-compressors, a non-conductive dye must also be
used to check for system leaks when needed. Only use the product listed below when adding dye to any
e-compressor equipped systems.
Note: An equivalent product may be used, only if it meets all the requirements listed below.
