Initial startup not possible after replacement of TRANSMISSION 725.0 or of electrohydraulic controller unit
Topic number
LI27.00-P-064767
Version
1
Design group
27.00 General
Date
08-26-2016
Validity
All vehicles with TRANSMISSION 725.0
Reason for change
New EHS part no. (A725 270 19 05 code 19A) added.
Reason for block
Complaint:
After replacement of the TRANSMISSION 725.0 or of the electrohydraulic controller unit (EHS), no software is found
during the initial startup routine in Xentry.
Cause:
The incorrect or the old A-code ("Generation EHS") is documented in the Vehicle Datacard for the newly installed
transmission or the newly installed electrohydraulic controller unit (EHS).
Remedy:
Redocument the new A-code using the XENTRY retrofit feature according to the EPC footnote for the transmission or
electrohydraulic controller unit (EHS) ordered, and then perform initial startup.
Current A-codes ("Generation EHS"):
EHS object no. --> A-code ("Generation EHS")
A725 270 10 03 --> 18A
A725 270 30 04 --> 19A
A725 270 33 04 --> 20A
A725 270 19 05 --> 21A
Note: Order replacement components per EPC using the vehicle datacard, do not use this LI for parts ordering. If the
ordered part matches the previously installed A-code, no change is necessary when prompted by XENTRY.
Note 2: If no listed A-code is listed in the vehicle datacard and parts replacement is necessary, please create a
PTSS case for correction. Case will be sent to Service Engineer.
