Complaint
After starting the engine, the instrument cluster shows the "EBD not available, diagnosis/test stand" message in yellow.
Note:
The road test was not activated by the workshop and therefore the workshop cannot deactivate it using the necessary
driving maneuver.
Note:
In the ESP control unit (N30/4 - ABR2XT) the DTC (fault code) C141000 "Road test is active" is a current entry.
No other fault codes are present in the ESP control unit.
Cause
Drive test is active.
Remedy
Deactivation of active drive test through a password-protected routine in XENTRY.
The system involved means that this password is only valid for a few days and it is VIN/FIN specific, and therefore a
PTSS case must be created for each vehicle.
