Revisions are italicized and indicated by PURPOSE A customer may report a condition where an abnormal rubbing noise is heard from the Seat Back when a driver and/or passenger is seated in the front seat(s). This may occur due to Nonwoven Fabric Tape being improperly attached during the production process, causing direct contact between the Seat Frame and Urethane Pad. As a result, an abnormal rubbing noise may be heard. This TSB instructs dealers to apply Nonwoven Fabric Tape between the Seat Back and Urethane Pad. AFFECTED VEHICLES • ALL Outlander • ALL Outlander PHEV • 2011-12 and 2016-2022 Outlander Sport / RVR REPAIR PROCEDURE Attach Nonwoven Fabric behind the Seat Back Urethane Pad by referring to the steps illustrated below.
