SITUATION
The motorcycle will not start. The vehicle battery is empty even though the battery charger was permanently
connected to the 12V power socket.
The battery is only fully charged once via the GM, then the 12V power socket is switched off. Afterwards,
the GM does not go to sleep, has a significantly increased standby current. Battery drains and is not
recharged cyclically.
PROCEDURE
Update I level to Kxxx-22-03-5xx (or higher) to remediate the above-described behavior.
The recommended method of charging the battery, however, is to charge via the battery terminal clips/jump
start terminal point.
