The symptoms above may be caused by accumulation of debris in the exhaust port
of the Barksdale leveling valve (corrosion, road salt, dirt, etc). The exhaust port
allows air to be exhausted from the suspension system to maintain a level ride
height.
Repair
1. Verify the unit is equipped with a Barksdale leveling valve and that it is clogged.

2. Replace the clogged Barksdale leveling valve.
3. Using the parts indicated below, create a 90 degree bend out of the exhaust
port.

- Install the nipple, fitting 991082 into the exhaust port.
- Attach the 90 degree fitting 991965.
- Insert 8" of 3/8" tubing in to the 90 degree fitting and direct it to the rear
