  Icon vehicle dynamics, llc (icon) is recalling all 05-up fsd 2.5 centerline stabilizer kits with part number 65050. The kits were sold as an accessory for certain 2005-2021 ford f-250 4x4 and f-350 4x4 pickup trucks. The foam ring inside the stabilizer "through shaft" may block the piston ports, possibly causing the steering to lock up.

  Issue: this recall is for aftermarket replacement rear window glass produced by vitro automotriz. Certain rear window glass may not have been properly tempered. If the window breaks, the glass may separate into large pieces instead of very small ones. Note: this is a voluntary recall that is not being conducted under the requirements of the motor vehicle safety act. Safety risk: glass that breaks in to large pieces could create a risk of injury. Corrective actions: the company will notify consumers by mail and instruct them to inspect the designation code marked on the rear window glass. Products affected by this recall have the designation “dot 287” along with the lettering “vmr” (replacement market) and a date code that is before july 2019. This information is printed on the bottom corner of the glass. Consumers should contact vitro's customer service at 1-412-995-6457 or [email protected] to arrange for replacement of the glass.

• Recall 2015081 [Canada]: Steering
  On certain vehicles equipped with diesel engines, service replacement steering gears, installed after june 30, 2014, may not properly mount to the frame rail due to insufficient clearance. This could result in insufficient clamp load on the joints, which over time may cause fatigue of one or more of the steering gear retention bolts. If the steering gear bolts were to fatigue, one or more of the bolts could fracture, which could result in a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: dealers will install spacers between the gear and the frame rail to add clearance and ensure adequate clamp load to the joints.

Unknown. Difficulty steering, violent shaking of steering and wheels. Already replaced steering contol box, tie rods, had alignment, new wheels. Feesl like death wobbles at any speed.

Ford f-250 super duty king ranch (2010) with a 6.4 powerstroke engine. The 3rd cylinder blew up and the piston came apart and scarred the cylinder wall up. This is supposedly a known issue with the new emissions equipment that was added to the vehicle to force diesels to have to pass smog. This issue should have been addressed by ford when it started happening to avoid people having to replace their engines at a cost of $20k.

The front end of my ford f-250 regularly wobbles uncontrollably when traveling on the freeway at speeds in excess of 50 mph. The shaking is so scary and violent and the only way to stop it is to slow down or stop the vehicle and this is very challenging and dangerous while traveling at high speeds on the freeway with other cars around.

Driving on expressway in georgia vehicle shut down approximately 90 miles after getting gas. Towed vehicle to ford dealer who said there was gas in the diesel fuel tank which resulted in blown engine. State farm was called, after about 2 weeks they took samples and claimed there was no evidence of gas. They claimed there were issues with the engine (6.4 super duty ford) in the past. We put 20,000 into the truck to have the engine replaced. Now we are wondering if this could happen again.
