Cpsc: my hyundai santa fe spontaneously caught fire in my driveway. Dt the consumer stated the explosion of the tire triggered her husband's combat trauma symptoms, which caused significant panic attacks and flashbacks. The spouse was committed to a crisis care hospital. *js

Hyundai santa fe. Consumer states problem with middle rear seat belt not being fixed. *tgw the consumer stated she took the vehicle to the dealer four times, for the seat belt problem. The dealer finally admitted, they could not fix the problem, as it was considered a modification to the seat belt. The consumer stated the part that the seat belt clicked into, fell down into the car and it could not be retrieved.

While driving at 40 mph, the consumer heard a high pitch noise coming from the engine. A few seconds later the engine stalled and would not restart. The vehicle was taken to a mechanic, who informed the consumer that a new engine was needed. The problem was a cracked oil pressure sending unit, that prevented oil from reaching the engine. The manufacturer and the dealer are aware of the problem. *ph
