  On certain 2 door models, corrosion of the front coil springs can result from loss of the protective paint coating and heavy road salt exposure. This corrosion may cause pits to form on the spring surface resulting in possible fatigue failure. If a broken spring comes out of the lower seat, it may contact the tire and cause it to deflate. This could result in loss of vehicle control and a crash. Correction: front coil springs will be replaced with ones that have been coated with zinc phosphate.

Correction: a modified throttle chamber gasket, which has a countermeasure sleeve, and a modified ecm, which controls egr operation under low ambient temperature, will be installed if necessary.

Sense i bought the car the air bag light is blinking.With the airbag fuse in the indicator light blinks,with the fuse out it stays on solid.Im not that familiar with how the air bag system works.It is a srs airbag system.What can i do to get the light to turn off and be assured the system is working and will function properly incase of a accident?

Tl* the contact owns a 1995 nissan sentra. The contact was driving approximately 60 mph in rainy weather conditions with the windshield wipers activated and suddenly the wipers failed to operate. The contact drove with caution to the side of the road and waited until the rain subsided; and then resumed in operation. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis. The technician informed the faulty motor linkage contributed to the failure. There was a recall associated with nhtsa campaign id number 98v093000 (visibility: windshield wiper/washer: linkages). The manufacturer was notified and they advised the vin was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 138,000. Nissan sentra car problem i have nissan sentra and had a problem on jan 9, 2008. My wife driving car and suddenly both airbag blow out and broke front windshield glass. After this incident i contacted nissan north america (1800nissan1) and submitted compliant (file# 6000221), after two week (jan 21) nissan send some one to inspect my car. During this time i call numerous times to get them repair car or give me rental car but they told me they are investigating problem so they can't do anything. I also called state farm and submitted claim for this accident. But since this is nissan car defect i would like nissan to fix this problem. Currently i don't have any car and i did not fix my car because i thought nissan will fix this. Finally on feb 09, 2008, i received letter from nissan saying this is not their problem so then can not help me on this problem. I am worry about thousands of nissan driver on the road and this can happen to anyone and can be a big accident. I would like to get help from you on this issue. Please let me know what i should do. Tl*the contact owns a 1995 nissan sentra. While driving 15 mph, the driver and passenger side air bags deployed without warning. No crash occurred. The vehicle came to a complete stop while the contact was still depressing the accelerator pedal and the engine was running. The vehicle filled up with residue from the air bags. The driver sustained bruises on both hands and her left breast. The current and failure mileages were 245,801.

Wiper blades quit working while driving on freeway on rainy night. Had to pull a side and waited 3 hours for the rain to stop. Wiper motor linkage failed. There is recall on the wiper motor linkage on nissan sentra 200sx for 1995 to 1998 cars. But the dealer said this car is not in the recall list where as the problem is absolutely same as described in the recall 98v093000. *nm

While driving 55 mph both frontal air bags deployed unexpectedly. This caused the driver to sustain major injuries, and was transported to a hospital by ambulance. Vehicle was towed home. The cause had not been determined at this time.*ak the vehicle tire blew out causing the frame to go down. The vehicle airbag deployed when the right front tire bew out going 30 mph. The consumer was taken to the hospital with injuries to left arm and two broken bones in left hand. Police report was taken by hillsborough sheriff dept. *tc

Consumer stated that windshield wiper motor arm is made of inefficient plastic materials. Consumer took vehicle to the dealer for a recall repair, and the parts for the repair only lasted for about three months before breaking down again.*ak
