Issue:
Unable to resolve all customer concerns after successful recharge of a vehicle's primary
or secondary battery.
Cause:
Failure to reset the vehicle's battery monitor stored values.
Action:
Similar to the service requirements following a vehicle battery replacement, technicians
must also use the JLR approved diagnostic system to perform the "Battery replacement"
service function (where applicable) following any successful primary or secondary
battery recharging operations.
This additional service procedure is required to reset the vehicle's battery monitor stored
values to ensure correct operation the vehicle charging system and Intelligent Stop Start
functions.
