Due to increasing requests for high voltage personal protective equipment (HVE PPE) for dealer
technicians working with high voltage vehicles (Hybrid, Plugin Hybrid, Electric Vehicle), the Audi Tools and
Equipment Team has identified two US based suppliers to support dealers in USA and Canada. The
suppliers below stock the special HVE PPE kit which consists of:

HV Protective Suit

HV Protective Gloves (Class 0)

Inner Glove Liner

HV Helmet and Visor

HV Over Shoes

A. Mitchell Instrument Company (based in California)
To order the kit online, do the following:
1. Visit their site at http://www.mitchellinstrument.com/
2. Enter Audi special code APV-HVE-PPE in the search field
3. Add and proceed to shopping cart by selecting the correct sizes needed

B. Saf-T-Gard (based in Illinois)
To order the kit, please call (800) 548-GARD (4273) and provide them the following information:
1. Dealer name
2. Dealer code
3. Method of payment
Both suppliers can recertify the HVE rubber gloves to comply with government regulations.
To order recertification of gloves call the phone numbers above.
Note: Any issues that result from Dealer transactions with the above Suppliers remain between the Supplier and
Dealer.
