Preview Solution CBR-1008-3 Mack Chassis - Equipped With An Automated Manual Transmission Model D or F ( AMT-D, AMT-F, mDrive ) Missing X1 Value In VDA And Default Settings Guidelines, Parameter P1AOB; Fault Code P1052-54, Error 40, Or Error 18 Encountered During Clutch Or Tran Published 22 April 2024 Valid for GU,GR,CXU,CHU,PI,AN,MRE,TE,TD model year 2014 to present After replacing the clutch, you might encounter this issue if there's a problem with either the clutch hardware or how the clutch was installed. It can also happen if the wrong clutch calibration option is selected in Tech Tool. If the clutch hasn't been replaced and its wear limit (X2 value) is lower than the minimum allowed value of X1, the calibration can't use that value. Essentially, you can't calibrate a clutch using an old clutch. Another possibility is that the X1 value is missing in VDA. If X1 is already in VDA, then the problem likely lies with the truck itself rather than the central systems. Just manually changing a value in VDA won't solve the issue. If additional help is required an eService case will need to be started. • The eService case MUST include: - This Solution Number - A description of the original customer complaint. - A thorough description of all work performed up to the point of the case's creation. - A DTC Readout if codes are present, active OR inactive. - Any screenshots or photos that are relevant to this situation. ; Live UI Related links and attachments No links or attachments available ; Live UI Share to others that might find it helpful Feedback Give feedback to help improve the content of this article
