    Daimler vans usa, llc (dvusa) is recalling certain 2016-2018 mercedes-benz metris vans. The value for the maximum combined load weight capacity of the tires is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 110, "tire and loading information."
    dealers will install corrected labels on the b-pillar and fuel filler door. Dealers will also inspect and replace incorrect tires, as necessary. All repairs will be performed free of charge.   • Recall 2022085 [Canada]: Visual system
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the rearview camera image could freeze while backing up. Safety risk: a rearview camera that doesn't display correctly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the vehicle software. This interim repair will the reduce the chance of a problem and provide warning if the rearview camera is not working properly. When final repair parts are available, mercedes-benz will send you a second letter. They will advise you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rearview camera.

  • Recall 2019515 [Canada]: Electrical
    Issue: certain vans equipped with an integrated backup battery do not have a cover installed over the front passenger's seat base. As a result, if an object made of a conductive material is dropped into the opening, it could make contact with the battery terminals. This could result in a short circuit. Safety risk: a short circuit could increase the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to install a cover over the front passenger's seat base. Consumers should not use a seat base with a battery as a storage compartment.

  • Recall 2019510 [Canada]: Brakes
    Issue: on one van, an issue with the braking system could cause increased brake pedal travel. It could also cause a malfunction of the anti-lock braking (abs) and electronic stability program (esp) systems. As a result, stopping distance could be extended. Safety risk: an abs / esp system malfunction and an extended stopping distance could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealership to replace the electronic stability program (esp) control unit.

  • Recall 2022103 [Canada]: Fuel supply
    Issue: on certain vehicles, the connections on the fuel supply hose may not be properly attached. As a result, fuel could leak in the engine compartment. Safety risk: a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective actions: mercedes-benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to check the upper and lower connections on the fuel transition hose. The dealer will replace the clamps and the fuel hose, if required.

The vehicle went into limp mode. I am familiar with wheel sensor failures how this vehicle reacts is seriously a danger hazard and should be recalled. This is my 3rd wheel sensor on this vehicle in 8 months.

Tl* the contact owns a 2018 mercedes-benz metris van (mmpv2g). The contact stated that the back-up camera was installed too low to clearly see the surroundings when reversing. The vehicle was taken to mercedes-benz of palm springs (4095 e palm canyon dr, palm springs, ca 92264, (760) 328-6525) who stated that the lower position of the back-up camera was installed in the proper location. The manufacturer was called and referred the contact to nhtsa to file a complaint. The failure mileage was 400.
