Known Recall Investigations
  • Power steering hose leakage investigation # PE05012

    This investigation was opened as the result of odisreview of prevost service bulletin, wb04-10,issued in december 2004 and titled "inspection and replacement of power steering pressure hose.The bulletin addressed the possibility that power steering assist could be lost due to a power steering pressure hose failure.The bulletin instructed the dealer to inspect, replace, and repositioned the hoses throughout the vehicle.As a result of odis investigation, prevost has agreed to conducta safety recall to inspect the power steering hoses for signs of abrading and to replace certain power steering hoses on the subject vehicles.A copy of the safety recall is attached.This action resolves the issues raised by this investigation. Accordingly, this investigation is closed.

    This investigation was opened as the result of odisreview of prevost service bulletin, wb04-10,issued in december 2004 and titled "inspection and replacement of power steering pressure hose.The bulletin addressed the possibility that power steering assist could be lost due to a power steering pressure hose failure.The bulletin instructed the dealer to inspect, replace, and repositioned the hoses throughout the vehicle.As a result of odis investigation, prevost has agreed to conducta safety recall to inspect the power steering hoses for signs of abrading and to replace certain power steering hoses on the subject vehicles.A copy of the safety recall is attached.This action resolves the issues raised by this investigation.
