Was able to bring car under control and into left median until highway patrol cut out bag and guided me off freeway, where car was towed. There was no indication that my car hit anything, and subsequent inspection by my insurer and the insurer's repair facility, failed to disclose any damage to the car that would indicate a collision with an object or a road hazard. $1900 damage is to repair/replace air bag. *ak
